Yearly Activities:

  • Annual Membership Meeting - 2010
    The Annual Membership Meeting of the Williston Historical Society will take place on Monday, January 18th, 2010. Please join us and bring a friend to the Old Brick Church, basement entrance. Dinner is at 6 PM. Please bring a main dish or salad to share. Dessert and beverage will be supplied. At 6:45 PM Dr. William Tortolano will present "A Vermont Music Sampler", also sponsored by the Vermont Humanities Council.A brief business meeting will follow, including the Election of Offcers for the coming year. Nominations from the group are welcome.

  • Annual Vermont History Expo in Tunbridge, VT.
    Due to the downturn in the economy the Expo for 2009 was cancelled. Vermont Historical Society is hoping to sponsor an Expo for 2010.

  • Ice Cream Social: The WHS sponsors an Ice Cream Social in conjunction with Williston’s Town Band Concert the night before the July 4th celebration on the green in Williston’s historic villagel It also opens the Old Brick Church with exhibits on July 4th and participates in the July 4th parade.

  • Member Meetings take place four times per year including the Annual Meeting in January. Contact Terry Macaig, President, at Macaig@msn.com.
